I just added this blog to the http://www.blogcatalog.com/, a community of bloggers and blog readers that form a network to help promote blogs. Blogcatalog.com gives you a specific link to promote your own blog. My web address on their site is: http://www.blogcatalog.com/blogs/product-reviews-3.html
From previous experience with another blog directory service, these do give a boost and help to create a community.
